The roots of Medochemie run deep. Our heritage is built on care for our fellow human beings, guided by the belief that health is a basic human right and that medicines must be within reach for all.
In 1976, Dr. Andreas Pittas, a pioneering doctor with a clear vision, laid the foundation for what would become a global pharmaceutical company. Today, that vision has grown into a presence spanning 19 countries, with more than 2,000 employees united by a common goal – to positively impact the lives of people all over the world.

Medochemie is a member of the Critical Medicines Alliance and has an extensive portfolio of the EU shortlisted critical medicines, as these were defined by the Commission, which are produced at our European authorised facilities.
